Lay Summary:
The Oxford Mechano-Electric Feedback lab, led by Peter Kohl, has collaborations with different groups on both experimental and modelling projects. Current projects are on the sino-atrial node (with Dario DiFrancesco and David Eisner), atrial fibrillation structure and function (with Ursula Ravens and Ulrich Schotten), mechano-electric feedback and remodelling (with Elisabetta Cerbai and David Eisner), mechanical effects on drug efficacy (with Martin Biel) and the development and validation of modelling tools (with Dario DiFrancesco and Ursula Ravens. See http://www.cellml.org/ and http://cor.physiol.ox.ac.uk/ for some of the technologies and tools we use).
